A Space for highs, lows and growth
HI, IāM KRISTIE MULDER
I have now been a PT for 6 years, and I am still so fascinated with the human body and how to help it function better. Through being a physical therapist I have the opportunity to share my knowledge of the human body and continuously learn more about how it functions.
I began my career at a clinic focusing on treatment of orthopedic injuries in people who are active. There I learned from so many wonderful clinicians how to manage injuries and dysfunctions eventually developing a special interest in low back pain, and SI joint dysfunction.
Then, in 2020, while pregnant with my daughter, I realized how little I knew about being active and taking care of my body while pregnant. Fast forward a year, after having my daughter, I began seeing an amazing pelvic health PT. Through my pelvic health journey as a patient I learned so much, and found the information so helpful. I knew I wanted to be able to share that knowledge with other women. So I left my first job, and moved to the clinic I had been a patient at. For the next year and a half I had the opportunity to take courses and be mentored by my PT in the world of Women's Health.
My goal through Firm Foundation Physical Therapy is to provide a space of learning for patients as they go through the challenges of having a body that doesn't always work as expected. I chose a cash-based model to allow me to give patients what they need. Patients have so many questions as they experience changes in their body. I want to be able to take the time to answer those questions AND provide the movements necessary to feel better. Insurance doesn't quite provide for that space, but I want to.

Being called to love others as myself, I will seek to humbly walk alongside my patients through whatever they bring with them. I will gently listen; patiently walking with people through the challenges our broken bodies present. I promise to bear with my patients, helping them carry the load they have been given. Doing all of this to the glory of Christ.
